Ephemeral is a butterfly generator made by Leslie Zeng.  It is an extension from Leslie's previous work Butterflies. The website will generate a random butterfly when it is loaded or refreshed. Players can adjust the size, shape, and hue color of the butterfly.

The game, or more precisely the experience, is a metaphor that signifies the shortness and non-possession of life. We can customize it but we never own it.

All the works were inspired by Daniel Shiffman's Butterfly Generator.
